BWI and Fleeing Charges Result from July 4 Boat Ride

BWI and Fleeing Charges Result from July 4 Boat Ride

The boating season in Minnesota is short, but a BWI (Boating While Intoxicated) can make it even shorter if you lose your boating privileges or recreational vehicle privileges.  Many people here own or rent boats but can only use them for a few months out of the year.  On the Fourth of July, one man went out boating on Lake Minnetonka with his girlfriend, and after a domestic dispute, he would up in Jail with a $30,000 bail!  Ryan Krueger, aged 33, was boating with his girlfriend  and her 9-month old baby when he apparently got in a domestic dispute with her.  As a result, the girlfriend,  jumped in the water without a life jacket.  He was then circling the boat around her in an attempt to pick her up.  Police noticed this unusual activity and approached Krueger’s boat.  Krueger then fled police leading to a 15 minute police chase of the boat.  Krueger was charged with Felony fleeing police on a motor vehicle, Terroristic Threats for allegedly threatening to kill the arresting officers, Fourth Degree felony assault for allegedly swinging at the officers , gross misdemeanor child endangerment for fleeing with a baby on board without a life jacket on, and BWI (Boating While Intoxicated) after allegedly testing a .15 in an alcohol test.  This boater will surely need the Best BWI Defense Attorney and best Hennepin County Criminal Defense Attorney

to help him.
