Alex DeMarco

Alex DeMarco has over 20 years of experience in criminal defense work and has won cases of all kinds ranging from traffic citations to murder. Alex believes that the most important part of every case is telling a story that people can understand and relate to. Presenting that story in just the right way to a court in a motion to dismiss, or jury deciding guilt or innocence, or even to a prosecutor in a hallway off the record, ensures the best outcome in each case. Justice requires that every person is treated like an individual, a valuable person, not just a file number. 

Alex was born in St. Paul, and his family has roots in the East Side. He graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2006 where he obtained a reversal of a murder conviction during his second year as a student attorney. He spent 8 years living and practicing in Faribault MN, where he also ran for the State Senate in 2010. He now lives and works in the metro area. Alex believes that the practice of criminal defense not only serves his clients but defends the rights and liberties that perpetually protect us all.
