Brian VanMeveren
Brian VanMeveren is Of Counsel with Keller Law Offices. He focuses his practice on criminal defense and has represented more than 4,000 clients throughout Minnesota in matters ranging from DWI and drug offenses to criminal sexual conduct allegations and other serious felony charges.
Born and raised in Marshall, Minnesota, Brian began his college education through Minnesota’s Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program while still in high school. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities on a full scholarship and later obtained his Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law. He was admitted to practice law in Minnesota in 2012.
Brian has spent more than 14 years representing clients in criminal matters throughout Minnesota. In addition to operating his own law practice, he previously served as an Assistant Public Defender, representing clients in juvenile delinquency and child protection proceedings. He has extensive experience handling bail hearings, contested hearings, court trials, appeals, and post-conviction matters.
Brian is a former Vice President of the Washington County Bar Association and remains active in Minnesota’s legal community through the Criminal Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He also volunteers with the Washington County and Ramsey County Self-Help Clinics.
