An employee of an Inver Grove Heights gentleman’s club reportedly offered to call a cab for a patron. Apparently, according to the employee, the patron declined the cab ride home and later left the establishment. The 51-year-old Florida resident is now facing serious Minnesota DWI charges.
Police claim a 26-year-old man from Akeley, Minnesota, resisted arrest during a DWI stop early Saturday morning. The incident allegedly occurred at roughly 1:30 a.m. in Hubbard County. News reports do not indicate why a state trooper originally decided to pull the man over. However, law enforcement claims the traffic stop grew more serious after the suspect did poorly on field sobriety tests.

A weekend car accident in Dinkytown has led to drunk driving charges for a St. Paul, Minnesota man. University of Minnesota Police claim that the 23-year-old drove a sport utility vehicle onto the sidewalk in Dinkytown Saturday night before crashing through a wrought iron fence in front of Burrito Loco. The SUV then reportedly hit the porch in front of a nearby house.
A Ramsey, Minnesota woman was arrested at her child’s elementary school October 11 on suspicion of driving while impaired. The school principle claims that the woman showed up at the school around 3:45 in the afternoon, smelling of alcohol. The principle called Ramsey Police to investigate.
